🔭 Tootie's Field Guide

Use your Owl Eyes to identify, explore, and record your backyard discoveries!

🦉 Grandma's Owl Eyes Method

1. Look First

Scan the whole area with your eyes before you move. What do you see?

2. Listen

Stand still and listen. What sounds do you hear? Birds? Insects? Frogs?

3. Move Slowly

Take small quiet steps. Quick movements scare wildlife away.

4. Hands to Self

Look with eyes, not hands. Only touch with Grandma's permission.

5. Record It

Write or draw what you found in your field journal.

6. Leave It

Leave the habitat exactly as you found it. It's someone's home!

🔍 Identify Your Find

Answer a few questions and we'll help you figure out what you found!
